Help for Keep Me Posted
Keep Me Posted is built for long-running topics that you do not want to check manually all the time. This page covers the core features, troubleshooting, and the most important things users may need when using the app.
Creating a topic
Enter a topic in plain language and let the AI refine it into a focused monitoring brief. You can then decide how often it should be checked, set the first scheduled run, and choose whether push notifications should be enabled.
- Choose a cadence: every 6 hours, twice a day, daily, every 3 days, or weekly
- Set the exact start date and time for the first scheduled check
- Add a user comment to explain what matters most for that topic
- Turn push alerts on or off for each topic individually
Using the timeline
When meaningful updates are found, they appear in a source-backed chronology. New items are marked as unread, and they are marked read as you scroll through them in the topic detail view.
- Unread dots show new developments at a glance
- Each chronology item includes a short summary and linked sources
- The overview shows the latest event date for each topic
Running and pausing research
You can trigger research manually at any time or let the schedule handle it in the background. Topics can also be paused and resumed without losing their chronology.
- Use Run Now to check a single topic immediately
- Use Research All Now to refresh all visible topics
- Pause a topic if you want to stop scheduled runs temporarily
- Resume it later without starting over
Credits and purchases
Keep Me Posted uses research credits instead of a subscription. You can top up in the app and use credits whenever you need them.
- Credit packs are available in sizes of 10, 50, and 100
- The Usage tab shows your remaining research credits
- If credits run low, the app shows a warning banner before all topics can run again
Notification help
If you are not receiving notifications, first make sure notifications are enabled for the topic and for the app in your device settings.
- Enable notifications in the topic settings
- Allow alerts, sounds, and badges in your device notification settings
- Open the app after reinstalling so push registration can refresh
Account and privacy
You can sign out, pause topics, or delete your account from inside the app. The website also includes dedicated pages for privacy, terms, and legal information.
- Delete account removes the user data associated with your app account
- Privacy details are available on the privacy page
- Legal and company details can be linked from the imprint page
