Terms of Use for Keep Me Posted

1. Scope

These Terms apply to the Keep Me Posted mobile apps, website, and related backend services. By using Keep Me Posted, you agree to use the service only in line with these Terms and applicable law.

2. What Keep Me Posted does

Keep Me Posted lets you create topic watchers, choose a monitoring cadence, run AI research, review source-backed summaries and chronology entries, and receive push notifications when the app finds meaningful developments.

AI-generated summaries are provided for convenience and may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect. You should verify important information from the linked sources or other trusted references before relying on it.

3. Accounts and eligibility

You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping access to your device and sign-in method secure. Keep Me Posted is not directed to children under 16.

4. Credits and purchases

Keep Me Posted uses research credits instead of a subscription. Credits can be used to run topic research and may be offered through welcome balances, promotions, or in-app purchases. Credit packs and prices are shown in the app before purchase.

Purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play are processed by the relevant store provider. Refund requests for store purchases are handled under the store provider's rules and refund process.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse Keep Me Posted. In particular, you must not:

• use the service for unlawful, harmful, abusive, or deceptive activity;
• attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or bypass the service;
• enter content that infringes another person's rights or privacy;
• use automated access except through interfaces explicitly provided by us; or
• resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the service without permission.

6. Availability and changes

We aim to keep Keep Me Posted useful and available, but the service may be interrupted by maintenance, provider outages, technical issues, or changes to third-party systems. We may update, pause, or discontinue features where reasonably necessary.

7. Your content and data

You keep responsibility for the topics, comments, and instructions you add. You allow us to process that content as needed to provide topic setup, recurring research, chronology entries, notifications, account features, support, security, and billing records. 8. Liability

Keep Me Posted is provided as a topic monitoring and information tool. It is not a substitute for professional, legal, medical, financial, safety, or other specialist advice. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses, business interruption, lost profits, or decisions made based on AI-generated output.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where applicable law does not allow it to be limited, including liability for intent, gross negligence, or injury to life, body, or health.

9. Termination

You may stop using the app at any time and can delete your account through the app or, for Android users, through the Android account deletion page. We may suspend or restrict access if an account is used in violation of these Terms or in a way that risks harm to the service or others.

10. Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules that may apply in your country of residence.
